Download Arduino IDE at https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software
Install Arduino first. Plug in XPlotter power, power on and connect USB cable. Then open Arduino and select Tools -> Port. If a port named "/dev/cu.wchusbserial1410" appear. It means your OS already have the correct USB driver and can find the device now. Try the software again. If software still cannot detect the device.
